1.This morning, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived on an official visit to the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Within the framework of this trip, Turkmen-Tajik meetings and negotiations at a high state level are envisaged.Turkmenistan and Tajikistan will consider a wide range of bilateral cooperation.
After the meeting and high-level negotiations, a number of new documents on bilateral cooperation are expected to be signed.
2.The President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov, held a regular meeting of the State Security Council, at which the results of the work of the country's military and law enforcement agencies for three months of the current year were reviewed.
The agenda also included issues related to ensuring security and tranquility in an independent state, further strengthening the material and technical base of security forces, and improving their work.
3.During the meeting of the State Security Council, the head of state made personnel decisions in the system of prosecutors.According to the Decree signed in accordance with Article 16 of the Law “On the Prosecutor’s Office of Turkmenistan”: first-class lawyer Shadurdy Hangeldiyevich Tashliyev was appointed prosecutor of the Ahal velayat.
Junior Counselor of Justice Pirbabayev Merdan Mahmudovich was relieved of his post as prosecutor of the Ahal velayat for improper performance of official duties.
4.Negotiations were held in Ashgabat between the management of Turkmen and Kazakh gas companies on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the gas industry.The meeting took place between the head of QazaqGaz JSC Sanzhar Zharkeshov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov and Chairman of the “Turkmengaz” State Concern Maksat Babayev.
During the constructive dialogue, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation, including the joint development of gas fields, the implementation of gas pipeline projects in the territories of the two countries and mutually beneficial supplies of natural gas.
5.The grand opening of the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Tajikistan was held in Dushanbe.This large-scale creative event will be an important contribution to Turkmen-Tajik interstate relations.
The grand opening was held at the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Sadreddin Aini.The event was attended by heads and representatives of relevant ministries, employees of the cultural, arts, science and education sectors, as well as the media.
6.An exhibition of the country's trade complex opened at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, at which more than two hundred enterprises and structures of the country demonstrate the successes of the national economy, its potential and promising areas of development.
On the opening day, the review was visited by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who got acquainted with various types of environmentally friendly and high-quality products of the textile complex, as well as with the presented samples of various leather products.
