A number of videoconferences with foreign partners were held today, on March 17, in the ministries and departments of Turkmenistan.
Thus, the country’s foreign ministry became the venue for an online conversation with the Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Helga Schmid.
The topics of the meeting were cooperation between Turkmenistan and the OSCE, maintaining security in the region, combating terrorism, drug and human trafficking.
They also discussed the situation in Afghanistan, energy security and the solution of transport problems, and environmental issues.
The regional forum on sustainable development under the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), held in an online format, was attended by employees of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan.
They discussed the work carried out in the region on the Agenda for the period up to 2030, as well as what has been done towards the nationalization of the SDGs.
The participants also exchanged views on measures to reduce the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the economies of the countries of the region, and on strategies for restoring economies after the pandemic to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals in the Central Asian states.
The Ashgabat Museum of Fine Arts hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference “History and Culture of Architectural Art”, which was participated by representatives of the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture, the City Hall of Ashgabat and the Union of Architects of Turkmenistan.
The forum was also attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee in the format of a video conference Executive Secretary of the CIS I.Nematov, Co-Chairman of the Board of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation M.
Shvydkoi, Executive Director of the IFHC CIS A.Iksanov, Executive Secretary of the International Association of Unions of Architects, Vice-President of the Russian Union of Architects, Honored Architect of the Russian Federation Academician I.
Voskresensky, as well as heads and employees of relevant ministries and structures of the CIS countries.
The conference presented reports on the architectural heritage of the peoples of the CIS countries, traditions and innovations of modern architecture. A video about the cultural heritage and architecture of Turkmenistan was shown during the meeting.
And in the International Research and Training Center of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, a video conference was held in the format of a teleconference with the participation of Dr.
Amin Mortazavi, a specialist in gynecology of the German organization Senior Experten Service (the German Economy Foundation for International Cooperation Service of Experienced Experts SES) and obstetricians-gynecologists of the Scientific and Clinical Center for Maternal and Child Health.
