Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan Amanov reported on work to increase oil production volumes

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov, during a government meeting, announced measures to increase oil production in the country, TDH writes.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the State Concern Turkmennebit has intensified work at oil and gas fields in order to increase production rates.

In particular, new areas are being developed in promising fields in the west of Turkmenistan. Several wells have already been deployed there, and new ones are being drilled in accordance with the plan. Modern methods and international experience are also used in field development.

In addition, to increase the productivity of wells, regular repair work and provision of necessary equipment are carried out.

Summing up, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of increasing hydrocarbon production in Turkmenistan on a scientific basis.

The head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to continue work to improve the material and technical base of the state concern.
