Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan held a series of talks in the UAE

As the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reported today, on the second day of the visit, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan visited the Emirates Center for Strategic Research and Development, where she held talks with its Director General, Dr. Sultan Mohammed Al Nuaimi.

During the meeting, the Turkmen diplomat noted the commitment of Turkmenistan to the development of fraternal and friendly relations with the UAE, and also expressed hope for further strengthening of the Turkmen-Emirate ties.

The head of the Turkmen delegation also delivered a lecture “Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan” to the staff of the Center, during which she spoke about the most important aspects of the foreign policy strategy of the Turkmen state.

In the afternoon, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan met with the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE for International Development Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi.

During the talks, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to friendly interstate relations, as well as to the intensification of interaction within the framework of authoritative international structures.

Taking the opportunity, Myahri Byashimova invited the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE to the solemn opening ceremony of the city of Arkadag, which will be held on June 29.

On the first day of the visit, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova met with the Director General of the UAE Diplomatic Academy Nikolai Mladenov.

During the negotiations, an agreement was reached to visit the teachers and students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan of the Diplomatic Academy of the United Arab Emirates named after Anvar Gargash in autumn 2023.
