The delegation of Bukhara region in Uzbekistan headed by manager of regional administration Uktam Barnoyev visited the administrative center of Lebap region on August 16.The visit of representatives of border area is conducted in framework of implementation of the Agreement between Hyakimlik of Lebap region of Turkmenistan and the administration of Bukhara region the Republic of Uzbekistan on partnership in trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian fields signed in March 2017 during the state visit of the President the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Ashgabat.
The program of a visit of the delegation of border area opened the meeting in Hyakimlik of Lebap region during which the aspects on bilateral cooperation on wide range of ways, the possibility on joint participation in investment projects, and partnership in sport and tourist industry, activation of cultural and scientific relations were discussed.
The dialog of entrepreneurs’ structures, working successfully in different economy sectors were especially emphasized.This subject defined the day agenda of Turkmen-Uzbek business forum conducted in ceremonial hall of the “Charbagi” park complex.
The representatives of the business community defined the priority ways of mutual interests in the border regions having the significant natural resources, agrarian and industrial opportunities.The joint Turkmen and Uzbek manufacturer’s exhibition presented the tendency and opportunities of Lebap and Bukhara regions development.
The specialized exposition introduced with the wide spectrum of the industrial and food products, manufactured by enterprises and companies of different ownerships, works of arts and crafts, souvenirs and books, gave the wide overview about the culture and traditions of both regions connected through historical affinity.
The joint concert of the masters of the arts closed the program of a visit.Akmaljon Kuchkarov, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Turkmenistan participated the events.
