Delegates of Turkmenistan participate in the IX Caspian Media Forum in Astrakhan

The delegation of Turkmenistan is participating in the IX Caspian Media Forum, which takes place in Astrakhan on August 16-17. “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” reports this.

Today there was a meeting of the heads of delegations of the countries participating in the media forum, representing Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkmenistan, as well as Belarus and Uzbekistan.

A plenary session and 5 thematic sessions are planned on August 17. Participants will discuss the development of digital technologies in art and media, the new life of traditional art and cinema as a universal language of communication.

A master class “Investigative Journalism” and a meeting of representatives of news agencies of the Caspian countries are also planned as part of the forum.

The forum will sum up the results of the traditional competition for the best journalistic work “Caspian Sea without Borders”.

The forum will continue with the cultural festival “Caspian Seasons”, at which the joint symphony orchestra of the Caspian states will perform. The orchestra includes musicians from Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan.
