Delegates of Turkmenistan participate in a training on digitalization of healthcare in Berlin

Representatives of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the WHO Country Office in Turkmenistan are taking part in a training to support the digitalization of health information systems, which is taking place in Berlin.

According to the MIC, the training is aimed at obtaining the relevant skills and knowledge necessary to fully use the opportunities in the field of digitalization of healthcare.

During the training, the best international practices are discussed.

Digitalization of healthcare systems is designed to improve the quality of medical services provided in the short and long term, enhance clinical, social and economic efficiency, as well as the accessibility of medical care.

The training, funded by the European Union, will last until July 12.
