Jumayev noted that he did not hesitate when he was offered to move to “Vitebsk”. According to him, the club has excellent infrastructure, fans and is located in a beautiful city.
The football player remembered his first steps in football. As a child, he played for the youth clubs “Arvana” and “Burgut”. At the age of 17, Jumayev signed a contract with Ashgabat “Kopetdag”, and made his debut in the Turkmenistan Cup match against “Merv”.
Jumayev spent two years in “Lokomotiv” Gomel. According to him, it was an excellent period in his career. It was there that his football life in Belarus began. Jumayev scored the first goal in the national championship against Lida.
The defender played last season for “Energetik-BGU”. The team was able to avoid direct relegation to the First League only in the last rounds. Jumayev noted that in the play-offs with “Vitebsk” they felt a huge responsibility, since this was the last chance to stay in the Major League.
In the new season, the defender intends to continue to progress and help “Vitebsk” take the highest possible place in the table.
