The famous French guitarist, conductor and director of the Macon Symphony Orchestra, David Yurpo, conducted a master class on guitar performing art at the Turkmen National Conservatory named after M. Kuliyeva.
As the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” reports, before the master class, he listened to performances by students of the pop department studying guitar.
David Yurpo told aspiring musicians how to avoid stage anxiety.
The main secret of successful performance is the musician’s concentration on the beauty of sound. Then the melody flows by itself.
The French guitarist distributed sheet music to the active students. Having studied their parts, the musicians, under the direction of the guest, practiced their skills of playing in an ensemble.
