This year, the Dashoguz Region took a leading position in the number of mothers-heroines in Turkmenistan.The title of honor of Turkmenistan "Ene Myahri" ("Mother's Tenderness") was granted to 117 mothers of the Region who gave birth and raised eight or more children.
This is stated in the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, published in today's issue of the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan".
In total, 282 mothers were granted title of honor. The full text of the Decree can be found here.
The title of honor "Ene Myahri" was established in 2008.It is granted to mothers who gave birth and raised eight or more children.Women who were granted title of honor are given a relevant badge and a certificate, and they are paid a one-time remuneration in the amount of ten times the base amount calculated when granting pensions and benefits.
Mothers granted title of honor of Turkmenistan "Ene Myahri" enjoy benefits in the cases and in the manner prescribed by the legislation of Turkmenistan. They also exercise the right to free use of prosthetic dentistry, utilities and public transport.
