Entrepreneurs from the UAE, Hong Kong and other countries purchased gasoline, aviation kerosene, unrefined paraffin produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, and business representatives from Afghanistan purchased liquefied natural gas produced at the Seidi Oil Refinery for foreign currency.
In addition, smooth-dyed and Jaquard terry-loop goods, as well as cotton yarn were sold to representatives of the UAE and Kyrgyzstan business circles.
The transactions amounted to over 7 million 897 thousand US dollars.
For manat, entrepreneurs from Russia, the UAE, Turkey, and Kazakhstan purchased cotton yarn and handmade carpets totaling more than 31 million 947 thousand manats.
For the domestic market Turkmen businessmen bought Portland cement in the amount of 164,275 thousand US dollars, as well as high-density polyethylene and handmade carpets for a total of 13,321 thousand manats.
A week ago, the currency transactions on the Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded 96.5 million US dollars.
