In the eastern region of Turkmenistan, in the second industrial zone of the city of Turkmenabat, the construction of a plant for the production of glycyrrhizic acid obtained from licorice roots is in its final stages.
Construction of the plant began in accordance with the decree signed by the President of Turkmenistan on January 14, 2022.
