Conference participation ” Cross-border Cooperation between the Baltic and Central Asian Countries for the Development of Higher Education”

The Junior Non-Key expert Guzel Gadjiayeva and TVET expert Olga Sadyhayan participated at the conference “Cross-border Cooperation between the Baltic and Central Asian Countries for the Development of Higher Education” in Riga, Latvia.Both participants met with a dozen representatives of the diversified educational landscape of Latvia.

They discussed several case studies on how Latvia identified innovative solutions to bridge the world of business with educational supply.The conference aimed to foster stronger collaboration, to identify learning opportunity, and to familiarize with best practice.

Last but not least, the objective was to create momentum and raise confidence in international networking.The activity is the fourth Study Tour, as planned in the project’s Terms of Reference.

As part of ongoing efforts, the third education project “Supporting the Education Sector in Turkmenistan” continues to support the Turkmen Government in creating a modern education system that meets international educational standards and labour market needs.The project runs for 48 months, from October 2016 to September 2020.
