The fourth Civil Forum was held in Turkmenistan with the participation of representatives of the Mejlis, a number of ministries, the “Turkmenaragatnashyk” Agency, as well as public organizations.
According to the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the participants discussed the implementation of the State Program for the Development of the Digital Economy, as well as the Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy in Turkmenistan for 2019 - 2025.
In particular, the strategic directions of digital interaction in the civil sector, the possibilities of information technology in the development of social security, healthcare and education were discussed. Intersectoral partnerships in the context of digitalization were also considered.
The event was organized by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
