May 25 will be celebrated with festive ceremonies and concerts as the City Day in Ashgabat and the “Last Bell” for graduates of secondary schools. This was announced at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports today.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Nurmuhammet Amannepesov, who is in charge of the education sector, according to tradition, on this day, the celebrations will begin with the laying of flowers at the Independence Monument in the capital and the monument to Berdimuhamed Annayev, installed in secondary school No. 27 of the village of Yzgant, Gokdepe etrap, Ahal velayat.
Festive ceremonies will be held in all secondary schools of the country, at which memorable gifts will be presented to distinguished graduates on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
In the evening, it is planned to organize a concert of art masters on the site in front of the State Circus of Turkmenistan. Festive celebrations will also be held in all velayats of the country.
After listening to the information and focusing on the importance of holding the planned celebrations at a high level, in an atmosphere of special spiritual uplift and sincere joy, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed the Vice-premier and the relevant leaders with specific instructions.
