Citizens of Turkmenistan returned to the Motherland by Warsaw-Turkmenbashi charter flight

This morning the Boeing 777-200LR “Turkmenistan” airline operated the Warsaw-Turkmenbashi charter flight, which delivered Turkmen citizens to homeland from Poland and other neighboring countries.

In accordance with the online scoreboard of the Warsaw Frederic Chopin airport, the flight took off on March 13 at 21:19 by local time.

Let us remind you, that regular flights from Turkmenistan with other countries were suspended in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), all arrived citizens from Poland by a charter flight will have to a mandatory quarantine.

Turkmenistan continues the organization work on the export of its citizens, who are abroad. The citizens exportation is carried out on free base and with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Let us add, that earlier the Government of Turkmenistan organized the export of its citizens, stuck in foreign countries due to the spread of the coronavirus from Russia, Belarus, Turkey, Azerbaijan, India, the United Arab Emirates,Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and from the EU countries for several times.

282 compatriots returned to Turkmenistan from Romania by the charter flight on March 10.
