The Chinese company Realme has introduced an innovative smartphone charging technology that can set a new speed record. Lenta.ru reports this with reference to the FoneArena portal.

The new development is called SuperSonic Charge and provides charging power of up to 320 watts. According to the manufacturer, this technology will charge a compatible device from 0 to 17% in just 35 seconds.

The exact characteristics of the batteries of future smartphones have not yet been disclosed. However, Realme announced the launch of SuperSonic Charge along with four other innovations at an event scheduled for August 14.

Experts note that the previous record in the field of fast charging belonged to Xiaomi. Their 300-watt technology allowed a smartphone to be fully charged in 5 minutes.
