From January 8, 2023, China plans to lift the obligatory five-day quarantine for all those entering the country, reports “MIR 24” with reference to the National Health Commission of China (NHC). Now it will be enough to present negative results of a PCR test for coronavirus.

This is the first major relaxation of the anti-epidemic controls established in China since March 2020. Previously, when crossing the Chinese border, it was necessary to spend at least five days in isolation in a special hotel, there was a period when the quarantine period was three weeks.
