Chief Editors of a number of Turkmen newspapers and magazines were appointed

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has today signed the Decrees on the appointment of heads of some periodicals.

Thus, Merdan Gazakbayev was appointed chief editor of the Vatan (Homeland) newspaper, Sohbet Nurberdiyev became the chief editor of “Mugallymlar gazetii” (Teachers’ newspaper), Maksat Nuriyev was appointed chief editor of the legal section of the Adalat (Justice) newspaper.

Gurbannazar Arazguliyev was relieved of his duties as editor-in-chief of the Diyar art and publicistic magazine due to his transfer to another job, and this position was taken by Yagmyr Nuriyev.

Abdulmedjit Myradov was also transferred to another job from the post of editor-in-chief of the Dunya Edibiyaty (World literature) magazine, the editorial office of which will now be headed by Rahmet Gylydjov.
