The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation held a video conference with members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and representatives of the Turkmenaragatnashyk Agency on the topic of bilateral cooperation in the field of technology and digitalization.
The meeting was attended by Vladimir Padalko, Vice-President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Alexander Okunev, Deputy Vice-President for Regional Development and Cooperation with the CIS of the SKOLKOVO Foundation.
The CCI Vice-Presidents of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation highlighted the progress made by the parties in this area and outlined ways of cooperation. Vladimir Padalko suggested holding regular business meetings, round tables and other online joint events to expand cooperation.
Olga Sereda, Deputy General Director of the Innovative Enterprise Development Fund and head of the CIS Innovation Commercialization Center, spoke about the main areas of work, including technology transfer, finding partners for implementing innovative projects and high-tech solutions.
Alina Akinshina, General Director of Online Patent LLC, presented a digital plan for registration, protection and management of intellectual property, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Director for Development of ANTIPANDEMIYA Hardware and Software System, Sergey Bobylev, and heads of various companies made specific proposals for establishing contacts.
The talks were mainly focused on developing trade and economic relations between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation, and diversifying mutual exports of goods and services.
