The Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) and West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) have signed a Memorandum of understanding, the CAFA press-service reports.
The signing ceremony took place on Tuesday in Manama (Bahrain) and was held in a friendly atmosphere, the message says.
The document was signed by the WAFF Secretary General Halil Al-Salem (Jordan) and the CAFA Secretary General Ulugbek Karimov (Tajikistan).
The West Asian Football Federation is a division of the Asian Football Confederation that oversees the development of football in West Asia.Founded in 2001.The founding members of the West Asian Football Federation are Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon and Syria.
