Businesses of Turkmenistan and France Meet in Paris

Representatives of business circles of Turkmenistan and France met in Paris at the initiative of the French-Turkmen Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, according to the press service of the Turkmen Embassy in France.

The business meeting was attended by representatives of Turkmen Embassy in France, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET), as well as French companies including VINCI Construction, CIS Energy, IN Groupe, Thomson Broadcast, Oberthur and Saberatours.

The participants discussed prospects of development of trade-economic relations between Turkmenistan and France.

The Turkmen Ambassador in France Maksat Chariyev introduced the meeting participants to favorable conditions created for foreign business in Turkmenistan and offered the French businesspeople cooperation opportunities in such fields as chemicals, gas- petrochemical industries, textile and agriculture.

During the meeting, the representative of SCRMET briefed participants on exchange activities in Turkmenistan, as well as on export trades at the exchange.

At the end of the meeting, the representatives of business circles of Turkmenistan and France agreed to continue holding such events on a regular basis in order to establish mutually beneficial cooperation.
