The international cooperation
Turkmenistan and Iran plan to intensify trade and economic cooperation, holding exhibitions and business forums. This was stated during a meeting between National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
At the Turkmen-Japanese business forum in Tokyo, representatives of the two countries discussed the possibility of opening a trade mission of Turkmenistan in Japan, as well as considering the issue of opening a JETRO representative office in Ashgabat.
Afghanistan has expressed its desire to hold another exhibition of goods in Turkmenistan due to the success of Afghan manufacturers at the show held March 4-6 in Ashgabat, where important contracts were signed between the parties.

The State Concern “Turkmenhimiya” has announced an international tender for the development of a feasibility study (TES) for the purpose of developing new deposits of iodine-bromine waters located in the Balkan velayat of Turkmenistan.

The Association of Automotive Schools and the Public Association “Association of International Road Carriers of Turkmenistan” will open an IRU-accredited training center to train highly qualified specialists in the field of road transportation.
The Balkan shipbuilding and ship repair plant in Turkmenistan will begin assembling the CSD 650 dredger from the Dutch Damen Shipyards Group under the supervision of the company’s engineers.
