The International Bureau of Exhibitions (BIE) jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, with the participation of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in France organized a specialized online seminar from Paris for Turkmen public sector specialists.
The seminar, which was held from November 16 to 18, 2020, brought together specialists from ministries and government agencies, business structures, as well as students of two Ashgabat universities - the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International University of Humanities and Development of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
During the three-day seminar, the BIE experts familiarized the Turkmen specialists with the organization's activities, shared their experience of organizing exhibitions and fairs, highlighted, in particular, the communication and technological aspects of participation in exhibitions held under the auspices of the BIE, and discussed programmes to enhance potential for cooperation with Turkmenistan at the international level.

Rejepov, as well as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to France Sh.Jumaev spoke during the seminar.The International Bureau of Exhibitions (Bureau international des expositions (BIE)) is an intergovernmental organization created in1928 to supervise international exhibitions.
Today, 169 member countries have adhered to the BIE, headquartered in Paris.Turkmenistan has taken part in various world and specialized exhibitions for a long time, but has become a member of the organization only in 2012, and in 2015 signed the Memorandum of Cooperation with the BIE.
