Bulgarian TV channels now on Turkmen satellite

Eight TV channels of Bulgaria (Alfa TV, BNT World, Bulgarian International TV, Evrokom, Plovdivska Pravoslavna TV, The Voice TV, ВТК and Bulgarska Khristiyanska TV) have started broadcasting via the TurkmenAlem 52E satellite, Turkmenistan State News Agency reported.

TurkmenAlem 52E, Turkmenistan’s first telecommunications satellite, was launched Apr.28, 2015, from Cape Canaveral (Florida, US).

The satellite has three antennas covering dozens of countries in Europe and Asia, as well as the Middle East and North Africa.
