Bulgaria fights plastic pollution by helping homeless animals

Vending machines for dispensing food for stray animals have appeared in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. To get a portion of food, you need not money, but plastic bottles, writes “Europulse”.

By donating plastic waste, city residents are thus not only fighting for the environment, but also helping stray cats and dogs.

If there is water left in a plastic bottle that can be disposed of in this way, you can also give it to animals - the machine has a special water receptacle. Such machines receive energy not from the citywide power grid, but from solar panels.
