Foreign guests who arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in events dedicated to International Neutrality Day received the commemorative medal Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna and a memorable gift set, marking the 300th anniversary of the great poet and philosopher Magtymguly Pyragy, as reported by the news program Watan habarlary on Tuesday.
Among the awardees is Binali Yıldırım, Chairman of the Council of Elders of Turkic Nations, who received the medal for his significant contribution to the development of Turkmen-Turkish relations. He also received the title of Türkmenistanyň il yaşulysy.
German physician Klaus Parhofer received the commemorative medal Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna and a memorable gift set, recognizing his contributions to the development of the medical sector in the country, as well as the Arkadag medal.
Members of the Council of Elders at the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charity Foundation also received awards for their active efforts in strengthening humanitarian and cultural ties between Turkmenistan and other countries.
The award ceremony took place after the conclusion of the meeting of the Council of Elders at the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charity Foundation.
