The new head coach of the Makhachkala "Dynamo" Turkmen and Russian 70-year-old specialist Kurban Berdyev entered the rating of the oldest active coaches in the world.
At the moment, the top 10 is headed by 75-year-old Roy Hodgson. The Englishman extended his contract with Crystal Palace in March this year after saving them from relegation from the English Premier League.
There will be two more top leagues this year - 71-year-old Claudio Ranieri (Cagliari) and 70-year-old Laszlo Boloni (Metz) - both coaches led their teams to promotion at the end of last season.
Senol Gunes (71 years old) also stands out - last season he took third place with Besiktas in the Turkish Championship and qualified for the LC.
Two of the “70+ Club” are coaching national teams at once: Carlos Queiroz led Qatar after World Cup 22, and Gernot Rohr has been coaching Benin for two years now.
Among those who can still be identified is the 69-year-old coach of the Icelandic national team Age Hareide. He is assisted by another veteran, 74-year-old Lars Lagerback.
