Austrian pharmaceutical company DiproMed strengthens ties with Turkmenistan

Within the framework of its strategic expansion in the Central Asian market, the Austrian pharmaceutical company DiproMed is actively developing partnership relations with Turkmenistan. The recent visit of the company's head Christian Eder to Ashgabat and the city of Arkadag marked an important stage in strengthening bilateral relations in the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals.

During his fifth visit to Turkmenistan, Christian Eder held a number of meetings with high-ranking government officials. The main topic of the talks was the prospects for expanding cooperation in the production of medical equipment and pharmaceuticals. “This is my fifth visit to Turkmenistan, and each time I am impressed by the progress I see in the country”, - Eder said in an exclusive interview with Turkmenportal. “I was particularly impressed by the new smart city of Arkadag, which opens up huge opportunities for the development of high-tech industries, including in the medical field”.

DiproMed specializes in the production of medical rapid tests that meet all European and international standards. The company plans to significantly expand the range of products for the Turkmen market, paying special attention to several key areas: local blood tests, screening tests for early diagnosis of oncological diseases, tests for new infectious diseases such as dengue fever.

“We aim to set the ideal standard for the quality of medical diagnostics in Turkmenistan”, - Eder emphasized. “Our tests provide fast and reliable results, which is critical given that 80% of diagnostic information is obtained at the testing stage”.

One of DiproMed's most ambitious plans is the possibility of organizing the production of medical products directly in Turkmenistan. Of particular interest to the company is the recently created medical cluster in the new city of Arkadag.

“We are ready to provide comprehensive support to our Turkmen partners in creating a modern production of medical devices”, - Eder said. “This will not only provide the domestic market with quality products, but will also open up prospects for the export of Turkmen medical products to the international market”.

According to the head of DiproMed, the company is ready to share its technologies and experience to help Turkmen producers meet international quality and certification standards necessary to enter the global market.

The Austrian-Turkmen Society under the leadership of Neda Berger plays an important role in the development of cooperation between DiproMed and Turkmenistan. “Through the Society, we were able to find the right business partners for the implementation of our projects”, - emphasized Christian Eder.

Neda Berger was recently awarded a high award - the medal “For the 300th Anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi”, which testifies to the recognition of her contribution to the development of Austrian-Turkmen relations.

“I would like to congratulate Mrs. Berger on this prestigious award and thank her for her invaluable contribution to the development of relations between our countries”, - Eder said. “Her efforts help us overcome cultural and business barriers and find common ground with our Turkmen partners”.

The development of cooperation between DiproMed and Turkmenistan opens up new horizons for both parties. For the Austrian company, this is an opportunity to expand its presence in the promising Central Asian market, and for Turkmenistan, to modernize its healthcare system, gain access to advanced medical technologies and develop its own high-tech production.

“We believe in the enormous potential of our cooperation”, - concluded Christian Eder. “DiproMed is ready to become a reliable partner of Turkmenistan in the healthcare sector, helping to improve the quality of life of the Turkmen people and the development of medical science in the region”.
