Administration centres of Astrakhan Region and the Republic of Kalmikiya, the Russian Federation hosted number of events timed to the 29the birth anniversary of great Turkmen poet and philosopher Magtumguly Fragi.
The events were organized by Turkmen diplomats together with Russian side.Flower laying ceremony to the monument of Magtumguly Fragi in Astrakhan and celebration concert in Astrakhan State Philharmonic were held on June 5.
Concert of Turkmen Kalmyk friendship was held in Elista on June 7.Representatives of ministries and departments of Russian Federation, Turkmen diaspora and youth took part in the activities.
The participants of events noted mutual interest in activation of humanitarian dialog, which is one of the main vectors of steadfast development of Turkmen Russian partnership as well as in the popularization of richest historical, cultural and literature heritage of Turkmen nation in Russia.
