Ashgabat will host the XVIII International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan" (OGT 2023) on October 25-27, Turkmen Forum informed on Monday.
The aim of the conference and exhibition is to strengthen regional dialogue on further sustainable development of the energy sector, review the recent trends in the global energy system and expand opportunities for foreign direct investments in the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan.
The event is organized by Türkmengaz (Turkmen Gas), Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concerns, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and Türkmengeology (Turkmen Geology) State Corporation in partnership with Turkmen Forum with the support of the British company GaffneyCline.
The conference and exhibition are expected to bring together a record number of executives of leading international energy companies, international organizations, and leading global financial institutions to share experiences and discuss regional and global trends that affect the development of the oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan.
The event will include meetings with the top management of Turkmenistan's oil and gas, banking, chemical, and energy sectors to further discuss investment opportunities.
