On March 21-25, Hong Kong hosted the International Junior Science Olympiad 2019 that broughttogether young scientists from 18 countries. The team that represented Turkmenistan under the leadership of teacher of chemistry Atamurat Shahanov included 8 pupils from Ashgabat Schools No. 26, 86 and 97.
In accordance with the contest terms, schoolchildren from Turkmenistan presented their projects in chemistry, biology and ecology. AS a result, our young scientists won 6 medals.
Abdyrahman Altymuhamedov and Novruz Bayramgeldiyev (school No. 86), Serdar Orazgeldiyev and Serdar Gurbanmyradov (school No 28 and 86) won the silver medals. Students of Ashgabat school No. 97 Mekan Mekanov and Ahmed Amanov won the bronze medal.
