Today, Ashgabat resident and veteran of the Great Patriotic War Valentina Yakovlevna Zherdeva celebrates her 101st birthday. This was reported to Turkmenportal by the Ashgabat Social Services Institution of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Turkmenistan.
At the age of twenty, Valentina Yakovlevna volunteered for the front and fought against the invaders in the ranks of the artillery troops, where she operated anti-aircraft guns. For her courage, she was awarded a number of orders and medals.
After the war, she worked at enterprises in Ashgabat. Valentina Yakovlevna is a beloved and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Having gone through a difficult life path, the Ashgabat long-liver still maintains her fortitude.
Due to her age, Valentina Yakovlevna is a user of social services of the Ashgabat City Social Services Institution. She is provided with various social services for home care.
The employees of the Ashgabat Social Service Institution unanimously congratulated Valentina Yakovlevna on her birthday, wished her and her family health and well-being, and presented her with memorable gifts.
