Ashgabat ragtime was performed for the 50th anniversary of the Turkmen National Conservatory

To the 50th anniversary of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva the group “Ragtime” gave a concert, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

The concert program included already beloved musical hits: “The Little Prince” by Mikaela Tariverdiev, music for the film “You never even dreamed of” by Alexei Rybkinov, the soundtrack “The Old Piano” from the film “We are from Jazz” by Mark Minkov, the song “If it were not for you” Joe Dassin and many others.

The “Ragtime” group was created three years ago. The organizer of the group is the accompanist and teacher of the department of wind and percussion instruments Natella Bagirova (piano). The group includes: Ilgiz Galimov (group leader, saxophone), Guvanch Sariyev (double bass, bass guitar), Kakageldy Gurbanmuradov (drums).
