The government of Turkmenistan has purchased an Aurus Senat Limousine, which Serdar Berdimuhamedov used during his official visit to Russia, reports TASS.
According to the agency, this type of cars has the highest level of ballistic protection in the world and is the safest vehicle.
It is noted that President Vladimir Putin, and members of the Russian government use Aurus Senat.
Aurus cars are a line of executive cars, which is created by order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. Serial production of the Aurus Senat model began on May 31, 2021 at the plant in Yelabuga.
In August 2019, on the sidelines of the first Caspian Economic Forum in Turkmenistan, a special copy of one of the Aurus models was demonstrated to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The name of the car Aurus is derived from the Latin Aurum (gold) and the first three letters from the English word Russia. The first export vehicles of this type were delivered to the UAE, Bahrain and Azerbaijan.
