Ashgabat Hosts Turkmen-Turkish Business Council Meeting

The joint meeting of the Turkmen-Turkish Business Council took place on Wednesday in the small conference hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

As reported by official media of Turkmenistan, the participants of the event discussed current issues of cooperation and outlined plans for the future.

The meeting began with speeches by the chairman of the council from the Turkmen side, Mergen Gurdov, who is the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, and his Turkish counterpart, Mahmut Era. The sides emphasized the importance of regular dialogue for expanding business contacts.

During the meeting, representatives of Turkmenistan presented their initiatives. Murad Muradov, the head of the Department of Legal Regulation and Coordination of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, emphasized the importance of legal support for effective partnership.

Kerim Meretmuradov, the head of the International Relations Department of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, spoke about projects aimed at developing industry and entrepreneurship.

The moderators summarized the meeting, noting its productivity and outlining prospects for implementing joint projects. The Turkmen-Turkish Business Council will continue to work on new initiatives that promote the strengthening of economic ties between the two countries.

On the same day, an exhibition of export goods from the Republic of Türkiye opened at the Expo Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat.
