A three-day training course on pandemic and health coverage in the media started today in Ashgabat, reports "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The event was organized by the OSCE Center in Ashgabat within the framework of the project “Assistance in Improving Journalism Education and Professional Training of Journalists”.
The training program includes familiarity with current media format and their effective use during a pandemic. Also, the genre features of information on pandemic and health topics and the possibilities of their application in practice will be considered.
International experts Yuri Zvyagintsev (RF) and Dmitry Strovsky (Israel) will acquaint the participants with the specifics of interaction between the media and the audience during a pandemic on the example of other countries, modern media practice on the topic of a pandemic and health.
During the training, participants will also complete practical tasks that will help to consolidate the knowledge gained in theory.
The training is attended by employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Information Center of the Ministry of Health of Turkmenistan, teachers and students of higher educational institutions, as well as representatives of the Turkmen media.
