Artists of the Great Moscow State Circus on Vernadsky Prospekt, as well as the Moscow Nikulin Circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard, together with the Turkmen equestrian group Galkynysh, opened a week-long performance program in the city of Arkadag today, the Watan information program of Turkmen television reported.
Performances by artists of Russian circuses are held as part of a tour planned in the capital and velayats of the country.
The first to see the unique program of the circus show, which includes numbers from the Golden Fund of the Russian circus, were guests and residents of the recently opened first "smart" city of Arkadag.
Artists of various genres of circus art performed before the audience - aerialists and tightrope walkers, tightrope walkers and jugglers. Trained lions, tigers and bears surprised the audience. Also performance was accompanied by performances of cheerful clowns.
The highlight of the program was the performance of the Turkmen equestrian group "Galkynysh".The well-known team is the visiting card of the Turkmen circus art.Recall that in 2018 the famous circus horse Akhan became famous all over the world with a record - he stood up and walked 10 meters in 4.19 seconds.
This achievement was listed in the Guinness Book of Records.And a year earlier, a horse rider Akhan lit the fire of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games during the opening ceremony of these complex competitions in Ashgabat.
Multiple winners of international competitions, winners of the Grand Prix in St. Petersburg, Italy and China, as well as the main prize of the World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan, Turkmen jigits perform on Akhal-Teke horses, performing the most spectacular tricks at high speed.
Joint performances by artists of the Russian and Turkmen circuses will continue in the new city of Arkadag until July 9.
Residents of Ashgabat will be able to attend performances at the State Circus of Turkmenistan from July 10 to August 7.
In the buildings of "Türkmeniň ak öýi" ("Turkmen White Yurt"), the Russian circus can be seen from August 9 to 18 in Dashoguz velayat, from August 22 to 31 in Lebap velayat, from September 3 to 12 in Mary velayat and from 15 to 24 September in the Balkan velayat.
Tickets for the circus show are sold at the box office of the State Circus of Turkmenistan.
