Arkadag City Awarded Prestigious European Society for Quality Research Award

The new Turkmen city of Arkadag has been awarded the prestigious ESQR’s Quality Choice Prize 2024.

The award ceremony took place on December 9 at the famous Parkhotel Schönbrunn in Vienna, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.

This international event, organized by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR), recognizes outstanding achievements in quality management in areas such as urban development, healthcare, and energy efficiency.

The prestigious award highlights the success of Arkadag, which combines advanced technologies with environmentally friendly practices, as a model of sustainable urbanization.

The ESQR’s Quality Choice Prize ceremony brought together leaders from Europe, Asia, America, Africa and Australia. Delegates included prominent businessmen, academic experts, quality specialists and diplomats.

The Turkmen delegation was led by Deryageldi Orazov, Chairman of the State Construction Committee of Arkadag. D. Orazov commented on receiving the award:

“This recognition and the innovative concept of the city of Arkadag reflect the tireless efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

The award not only emphasizes our commitment to quality, but also brings Arkadag to the world stage as a city that stands on the positions of sustainability and technological innovation.”

Recall that at present, the second stage of construction is underway in the city of Arkadag.
