April 21 is declared a day off in Turkmenistan on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr

On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, April 21 was declared a day off in Turkmenistan. The corresponding Decree was signed by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the information program Watan of the Turkmen television reported today.

The document requires all institutions, enterprises and organizations, regardless of the form of ownership, to ensure the implementation of this Decree.

The holiday of Oraza Bayramy completes the holy month of Ramadan (Oraza) for all Muslims, during which believers fast. Oraza Bayramy has been celebrated as a national holiday in Turkmenistan since 1998.
