Apple introduced the new high-tech device, Vision Pro headset, at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference, which takes place on June 5 9 in California, USA, Bloomberg reported on Monday. Starting at $3,499, it will begin retailing next year.
The headset, which looks like ski goggles, will have a three-dimensional interface in which users can view their surroundings and virtual reality at the same time.It will feature FaceTime, Safari, and other applications similar to those found on other Apple devices.
Users can unlock the device by scanning their eyes and interact with applications through eye movement, hand gestures, and voice.
The device will run the Disney+ streaming service, Microsoft Office Suite, and apps from Adobe Inc, Reuters announced with reference to Apple’s statement at the conference.
Apple has also unveiled a 15-inch MacBook Air laptop as well as enhanced computer chips for desktops at the WWDC. Additionally, the company has rolled out operating system updates for its computers, AirPods, watches, and iPhones, all of which feature new capabilities, such as a Journal app, FaceTime, and video messaging.
