An exhibition of young artists and photographers TURKSOY opened in Ashgabat

Within the framework of the Week of Turkic States in Ashgabat, the Museum of Fine Arts hosted the grand opening of an exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of TURKSOY.

The participants were welcomed by the Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture Sultanbay Raev and the Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan Atageldy Shamuradov, who emphasized the importance of the current cultural action in strengthening friendship and cooperation between fraternal peoples. The parties exchanged memorable souvenir gifts.

The subjects of the photographs presented at the exhibition are the historical, natural and architectural sights of the TURKSOY member countries, the original customs and traditions of the Turkic peoples. A special emotional mood is created by photographic portraits, which depict people's faces.

Among the exhibits are the photographs of the works of the participants of the contest “The Turkic World through the Eyes of Young Artists”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of TURKSOY. They convey to the viewer bright, kind emotions, faith and love for their country and the Turkic world.

Visitors to the exhibition also get acquainted with richly illustrated publishing products dedicated to the cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples.

Entrance to the exhibition is free.
