An exhibition of Lebap artists opened in Ashgabat

Today, the opening ceremony of a unique exhibition of its kind was held at the Exhibition Hall of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan.

Lebap artists - members of the velayat branch of the Union of Artists - presented the history, traditions, and amazing beauties of their native land to the Ashgabat audience in a variety of styles and genre diversity.

The exhibition is interesting thematically and coloristically. The velayat's artists exhibited landscapes, still lifes, portraits, and narrative paintings from the life of the region's workers. Here you can see the mysterious Koytendag, and the ancient monuments of Lebap, and the national color, as well as the generosity and fertility of the Lebap land.

Along with the works of such famous masters in Turkmenistan as Rahman and Dilber Umarov, Myrat Baltayev, Myrat Haytyev, Kamil Veliahmedov, graduates of different years of the State Academy of Arts of the country also present their works: Gulara Babayeva, Rustam Abdullayev, Dilaram Hojainova, Hijran and Jeyran Umarov, Yhlas Allanazarov.

Within the framework of today's exhibition, a personal exhibition of works by the chairman of the Lebap branch of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan, Rustam Abdullayev, also opened.

Both exhibitions will run for 2 weeks.
