An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 occurred in Afghanistan

An earthquake occurred at 2:27 a.m.local time on Monday In Afghanistan.The United States Geological Survey (USGS) recorded an earthquake of magnitude 5.3 38 km northeast of the city of Jalalabad, the administrative center bordering with the Pakistani province Nangarhar on the east of the country.

The earthquake focus was located at a depth of 10 kilometers, the Anadolu Agency reports

It is noted that the shocks of earthquake were felt in neighboring provinces, including Kabul, also in bordering districts of Pakistan.
