In honor of the 32nd anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan, award ceremonies will be held in the country for cultural workers who have received state awards and the winners of the competition of the President of Turkmenistan Türkmeniň Altyn asyry.
Deputy Prime Minister Myahrijemal Mammedova reported on this, speaking about preparations for events planned on the occasion of Independence Day.
The main events include laying flowers at the Independence Monument in the capital and raising the State banner in the main squares in the velayats, a ceremonial parade in front of the State Tribune in Ashgabat, a festive concert and fireworks on the square in front of the Älem Cultural and Entertainment Center.
Along with this, it is planned to hold horse races at the International Ahal-Teke Equestrian Complex, as well as performances by bagshy musicians, cultural figures and artists, and exhibitions of works of decorative and applied art.
The press publishes materials for this significant date and sums up the results of creative competitions. Documentary films, videos, and various programs are broadcast, and work is underway to broadcast them on foreign television channels.
After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that over the years of independence, colossal work has been done and significant progress has been achieved in all areas.
The activities of cultural workers play a big role in the development of national traditions, preservation and popularization of historical and cultural heritage, and enhancement of the glory of the Fatherland, the head of Turkmenistan emphasized.
Focusing on the need to ensure a worthy celebration of the 32nd anniversary of the country's independence, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave the Deputy Prime Minister a number of specific instructions, according to today's Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
