Researchers from the University of Texas in the US say that by Friday, especially in the afternoon, workers become the least efficient, writes Gazeta.ru with reference to information from the PLOS One magazine.
The findings were based on the use of computers by employees of a Texas energy company between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2018. The speed of typing, the intensity of the movement of the “mouse” and the number of typos were analyzed.
Based on the results of the analysis, it turned out that in the first four working days of the week, the activity of workers increased, and on Friday it fell sharply. The speed of typing and manipulation of the “mouse” decreased, but the number of errors and typos in the texts increased.
