Amendments to the Law of Turkmenistan "On Roads and Road Activities" entered into force

Today, amendments and additions to the Law of Turkmenistan "On highways and road activities" of March 2, 2013 came into force.

In particular, the Law of Turkmenistan "On amendments and additions to the Law of Turkmenistan" On highways and road activities "introduces the following amendments: 1) Paragraph 11 of Article 1 shall be amended as follows: "11) protective road structures - elements of landscaping, anti-mudflow and snow protection structures, fences, sound and wind protection devices, as well as devices against moving sand and other protective devices;";

2) in article 10: in part one, after the word “departments”, add the words “and owned by the non-state sector of the economy”; after part five, add the following part: “51.

Roads owned by the private sector of the economy include roads owned by individuals-private entrepreneurs engaged in entrepreneurial activities without forming a legal entity, and legal entities belonging to the non-governmental sector of the economy. ”

3) in the content of Article 11, after the word “property”, add the words “and are owned by persons belonging to the non-state sector of the economy”;

4) in article 17: in part four, the word “body” shall be replaced by the word “person”; supplement with a part of the following content: “5.The maximum amount of payment and the method of payment for the passage of vehicles on motor roads belonging to the category of toll roads are determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan. ";

5) Article 19 shall be supplemented with a part of the following content: “5.road activity in relation to motor roads owned by the non-state sector of the economy is carried out by individuals-private entrepreneurs engaged in entrepreneurial activity without forming a legal entity, and legal entities belonging to the non-state sector of the economy, which own motor roads by right of ownership. ";

6) in part four of Article 21, the word “bodies” shall be replaced by the word “persons”;

7) in the first part of Article 31, after the word “departments,” add the words “as well as those related to the non-state sector of the economy (which own the motor roads by right of ownership),”.

The law was published in today's Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
