Ambassadors of Turkmenistan and Cyprus to Russia discussed the development of bilateral relations

Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Russia Batyr Niyazliev met on Monday with Ambassador of Cyprus to Moscow Kypros Giorgallis and discussed with him the development of bilateral relations. The official website of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Russia reports about this.

The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere and in the spirit of mutual understanding. During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of international, regional and bilateral nature of mutual interest.

Particular attention was paid to relations between Turkmenistan and Cyprus, which are developing dynamically in many areas.

As notes the source, Turkmenistan and Cyprus maintain mutually beneficial friendly relations and successfully cooperate within the framework of authoritative international organizations, in particular, the UN.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed confidence in the further strengthening of bilateral mutually beneficial relations between Turkmenistan and Cyprus.

Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Cyprus were established on November 13, 2007.
