Ambassador of Turkmenistan met with the head of Pakistan

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan Atajan Movlamov was received by the President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic mission.

During the meeting, Atajan Movlamov conveyed congratulations and best wishes to the Head of State on behalf of the leadership of Turkmenistan in connection with the accession of Asif Ali Zardari to the highest government post for the second time.

The parties discussed the agenda of Turkmen-Pakistani relations, covering various areas of interstate interaction. It was emphasized that cooperation between the two countries is developing on the principles of mutual respect, equality and mutually beneficial partnership, in the spirit of friendship and good neighborliness.

At the end of the meeting, President Asif Ali Zardari said that Pakistan attaches special importance to bilateral relations with Turkmenistan and is interested in their further development and strengthening in all directions for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
