Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Georgia met with Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia

On 4 June 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan in Georgia Dowletmyrat Seyitmammedov met with the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia Georgi Amilakhvari.

At the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and further prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in science, education and youth policy.

The issues of preparation of joint projects, programs, participation of schoolchildren and students in international Olympiads, conferences, seminars and other events held in Turkmenistan and Georgia, signing agreements on cooperation between higher educational institutions of the two countries were also discussed.

Amilakhvari noted that the scientific and educational sphere is one of the priority areas of interstate relations. He also noted that contacts in this sphere strengthen the friendship of the peoples of the two countries and act as one of the main means of mutual understanding.
